You've got to be kidding me, Bradshaw is officiating the championship game! Why do we have refs from our conference?

I actually prefer it because you know what they're going to call.

Both teams have played a real clean game thus far on the penalty front.

Could say the same thing about last year's Gophers vs. Wisconsin NCAA tournament game, officiated by the Law Firm of Ludwig, Kaehler, Neville, and Seal.

I'm sure these are predetermined before the teams are set to play in the games, but I do wish there was a rule against refs from the same conference as one (or both) of the teams playing. Feels weird to put it mildly. Of course, I'd also be extremely happy if Ludwig, Kaehler, or Bradshaw never officiated a Gopher game again.

I will say that is was a very cleanly played game, no blindingly obvious no calls. It's like both teams decided to play clean. I was really shocked how St. Lawrence and Colgate clearly made conscious decisions to goon it up against WI.
