It will be interesting to see how many SNC students hang around for the game. Classes end Friday for spring break.
Maybe more than you think if Cogs ponies up for pizza again.

never been to the CCC. what is it like? do I need to wear my long underwear, gloves, hat? seating on just one side or two? loud? lots of students? Thanks
Whenever we discuss tough losses at the CCC, that game tops my list.UST did come into the Cornerstone in 2005 and end SNC's season under similar circumstances. I do believe that was a quarter final game, however. SNC relied on a promising freahman goaltender that year as well...
My thoughts are that SNC has found their shutdown defense and that they do not allow teams to get out of their defensive zone with their agressive forechecking. This combined with a much improved goaltender makes my prediction a win for SNC. I will say 4-1.
Wednesday night game. Good four hour break from studying for those pesky exams.![]()
My bad... I thought it was a Saturday game. Thanks!
I still maintain they got the seedings wrong in the West. No way MSOE is better than St. Thomas. They weren't physical but they were a very skilled team.
It was pretty much established that SNC was #1 in the region so when there was no need for adjustment because of the 500 mile rule I have to assume they played #4? If they didn't then the NCAA doesn't understand the concept of seeding. That's what I'm working under. In reality you are probably correct though. Who knows what the thought process was.

"Especially with a long 5 on 3, St. Thomas needed to come out of that first period with at least a 2 goal lead to have a good chance because I knew we'd seen St. Thomas' best shot and I thought SNC would get things going as the game went on. "
Tell us how you knew this????
