think I'm still getting over reading about the pairings and these play-in games.......oh well I guess reason for another great game to watch at the Stone!

Btw, that was a tough one for SNC again in my opinion. 4 teams in the West almost guaranteed this playout to one for Lake Placid.

Without Adrian, the only other option would be two west quarterfinals but that ain't happening, especially with an eastern finals venue.
And, I think SNC should have gotten the lowest team, MOSE. Oh well, suit 'em up and play.

At the SNC ticket office this morning and it looks like sales are brisk. Hopefully the CCC is as full and as loud as the SNC-Point game.

You will find seating on three sides of the rink. See attached diagram.

It was full last Saturday, with a large group of Pointer fans on hand.
Students sit behind the opponent goal (sections A and into B).
Team benches and the penalty boxes are on the side with no seating.
I wear gloves, sweater under jacket and my trusty SNC hat.

It's a nice arena to watch a game in. I know I had a good view from section "C", but that was a few years ago.....
Stadium seating has always seemed strange to me. In my opinion, the cheapest seats at CCC are better to watch the action than the expensive ones, but thats just my opinion..

Although, I know a lot of people who enjoy the view from behind the goal that we shoot at twice per game...also others who like the seating on the blue line in the opponent zone.
I normally stand on top near the red line.

It's not the warmest place, but I usually just wear a sweatshirt with a jersey. I don't wear hat or gloves, etc. I've been in many more colder rinks. There are heaters above the seats.
The walkway is between the ice and Row A, so if you sit in the front row you are not against the glass - people will walk in front of you. So, in that regard, higher is better.

It will be interesting to see how many SNC students hang around for the game. Classes end Friday for spring break.

I agree, and that's what I thought was going to happen, provided St. Thomas got in, which they did.
As for the game, while St. Thomas is a very good team, I'm going to say it again. You bet against St. Norbert at your own peril. I like SNC 3-1 with a ENG to close it out.

I totally agree. My family and I sit in section B, and we used to sit in F. F is center ice area, and we like B better. Two of the three periods, we can watch for SNC goals. (hopefully)

One word...??? physical. They will destroy a team if they are allowed to cycle the puck. I haven't seen a team cycle it better than them in a long time. Scoring is spread out. Ryd and Keefer I believe are scoring leaders, but anyone can score. When it comes down to it I believe their strongest points are the cycling and power play/penalty kill. Special teams are phenomenal this year, especially as of late. They seem to be getting hot right now. Hopefully it will last a few more games. If their passing is on, and you allow them to cycle the puck at will, you don't stand a chance. But catch them on an off night......anything can happen.
