Union has the longest unbeaten streak in the country at 14-0-1 over their last 15 games in the months of February/March.

I thought about that earlier today and meant to look that up. Thanks for the info. I thought you guys had a nice run going.

But... that means nothing to a western hockey fan. In their mind, hockey is only played in one region of the country. But when you whoop their azz, they acknowledge such azz whooping with great praise for your team, only to forget you have a hockey team a short 2 months later. Rinse and repeat. ;)

That all being said... I agree with that fast freddie dead guy person. Minnesota (and NoDak) looked very very strong last weekend. Four great teams in this Frozen Four. Gonna be one for the ages, IMO. :)

UND looked strong? Did you actually watch the final 2+ periods of their game with Ferris? UND won that game for one reason, Zane Gothberg played out of his mind. There are three teams that played very well this weekend and one team that played OK.

Union may have the longest unbeaten streak in the nation but they didn't have to play a powerhouse like Robert Morris during that time period, so it doesn't really count.

This is going to be an absolute barn burner. Could it come down to goaltending? Who do you all think the better tendy is? Stevens is solid as ever, Demko is one of the best up and coming American goalie prospects. I am predicting a 2-1 Union OT win.

You should probably watch some of Union play because they are as hot as anyone and Minnesota is probably lucky that there is two weeks off because Union has been steam rolling everyone. If Hatch and Novak continue their success they can't lose. I have doubted Union all year but have finally come to my senses. I've watched Minnesota play and they are a solid team but I really think you'll be surprised with how solid Union is from top to bottom. Also their fight is unparalleled in college hockey. They could be up 6-0, 3-2 or be down 5-3 and they will still be all over the place. They are relentless. Should be fun to see how this all shakes out.

and now some unwarranted union arrogance! if neither minnesota nor union can be beat might as well just call the whole thing off and crown them co-champs!

This thread is weak, and Union fans are handing out ammo like it's the Dept. of Homeland Security gearing up for an immigration raid.

Somebody just come out and say it... Union has played the weakest schedule among the four teams and still finished 3rd in the PWR... They are soft, and if it weren't for their acting abilities and the fact the refs are scared Bennett might TKO them their season would already be done.

I'd say ranking #1 in the KRACH rating while having a weaker SOS is a hell of an accomplishment.
