National D-III Pick 'Em Challenge: Week 6

Remember, assign point values one through five for each game based upon how confident you are in your picks, with five points being the most confident and one being the least confident. If point values are not assigned, the games you pick incorrectly will be assigned the highest point values.

Not a ton of movement as there were two games last weekend that ended in a TIE, resulting in no points for anyone in either of those two games. The other three games were quite split as far as picks. That being said, the big winners of the week with a total of SIX points were hawk, CROBYNU63, Cards_rule_the_Burgh.

I must say I am shocked there are no games from the Primelink! It has been previously said to be the premier tourney of DIII hockey.

I thought about the two Primelink games, but decided against it because I think most people would pick Norwich over St. Thomas and Plattsburgh over Middlebury AND picked them fairly confidently (i.e make that game their 5 or 4 or 3 point game). So while I agree this is obviously the premier tournament in D-III hockey, I try to pick games that are difficult to pick and I think that the slate of games that I have chosen are more difficult to pick than either of the Primelink games.

For example, while Salve Regina vs. Colby is not nearly as intriguing of a game, I think it is much more difficult to pick the winner of that game than either Primelink game.

EDIT: That being said, I decided to throw a small wrench into the system and added a BONUS point to the mix. (See above)
