The Gophers are and were the #1 team in the nation for almost the entire season. They have an elite goaltender and they are a program that has won 5 titles.

They are the favorite.

Union has too many Canadians for MN to have a chance.

Since Hatch got tossed last night for Union does he have to automatically sit out a game or is he available for Saturday night?

There's only two things I hate in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures and the Dutch!

Not this time! Go Dutchmen!

I always want to see a team win their first title and continue the trend of teams doing just that after almost a 20 year drought! Should be a great game.

Gophers start 6-7 freshmen a night, and most are true freshmen. The difference, IMO, is that Minnesota's youth is being asked to fill core roles.

None of these teams have "homegrown talent." They had nothing to do with their players' development until they actually joined the team.
