That happens to us. We'll start a chant that ends with "Score Score Score" or "Makes you want to score." And usually the puck will have been cleared, prompting us to yell "DOWN HERE!" "DOWN THERE!" depending on which period.

And Hammer, speaking of your thoughts....Ferris State is heading into the bottom of the ninth trailing by one run. What do you think longtime Detroit hockey genius, Sparky Anderson, would do in this situation? You know, after he stopped swearing long enough to express a semi-cogent idea. Well? Discuss.

I expected this type of game. Ferris State is a tough team to score goals on, quite evident here. I just hope this isn't a repeat of 2007. Nothing against Ferris State fans or alums.

Starting to wonder if we even can score another goal, and that's considering as of now, we need two to win.

While I'm glad we've kept BC from scoring, the point is, we have to score.

Pretty sure I won't have a voice tomorrow with all the shouting. I'll take one goal and go from there.

ASaaG, if you ever hint at disrespect for Sparky Anderson again (whose autograph I have! on a ticket from a Red Sox game in '88) I'll personally ensure that your supply of treacly hazlenut coffee is cut off indefinitely.

And **** it huskyfan, things have been going so well so far . . . but I don't know if I can handle a 3rd manhattan for the 3rd period. :( Maybe a cherry 7Up, for the same good luck Ferris jersey colored drink?

I grew up a little north of Big Rapids. several friends went there. the University was hell on drugs. the kids in the dorms used masking tape around the doors to their rooms so no pot smell would seep out into the hall. luckily, I was attending Michigan State, who really didn't care how when where or why you were stoned.

I had friends that did that, along with soaked towels under the doors, and spoons and forks at the top of the doors, so that they would fall when the RA's came in. Like that split second was going to do any good...

My crew just drank like fish. And tried to find out how close you could get to the Muskegon River on a food tray without going for a, uh, drink.

Went to NMU in the late 70s. Same thing!
