Re: My Stanley Cup Runneth Over

One wonders how horrible the injury to Hossa must have been to keep him out of the lineup. Must have been nursing a gunshot wound or something.

I read somewhere that he had a bulging disk in his back pressing against his spine that caused him to lose all sensation in one of his legs.

People have been sending Ference messages all day, and trying to get #thankyouference trending on Twitter. He responds:
@Ferknuckle: I’ve read every message.Thank you doesn't seem sufficient. This team, fans and city are incredible.

For any reason in particular?
For starters, playing on a foot that couldn't have been healed.

Do the Blackhawks have cap space? #New5thD!

Kevin Shattenkirk signed a 4 year $17M deal with the Blues. Go BU!

Re: My Stanley Cup Runneth Over

Somebody had a hole in their lung too...can't remember who that was (probably Bergeron)

It was Bergeron. Now we have found out he has been in hospital since the end of game 6. Had the Bruins won Monday night, would he have checked in to the hospital? Would he have tried to play tonight with everything that is wrong? How many games can a person play with a broken rib and a freakin' hole in your lung before you tempt fate a little too much? Not to be melodramatic, but Bergeron's career or even his life may have been saved by that collapse in game 6. I shudder to think of him trying to go tonight in a game 7.

That dog won't hunt.

It's the best jersey in the NHL. The college team that used to have that emblem used to have the best jerseys in college hockey.

Best jersey says who? And wasn't the college team that used that emblem funded by a Nazi? That would never fly in Boston.
