Nope, I actually wiped out because a car coming the other way decided to turn right in front of me and my back tire slid out from under me while I braked. Luckily my bike and I escaped unscathed.

Sometimes there is a good tie-and this one felt like a win. We saved our best offense for the last minute of the period and the rest of OT. I just cannot understand SA plaing #3 and #11 together in OT. If not for some excellent backchecking by our forwards in OT we could have been in very deep trouble. Take this tie on the road and move on-let's get something done tomorrow-Go Red!!!

That would have been a tough one to lose. At least they got a point out of it. Let's try to play that way again tomorrow against Cornell.

I don't think we played very well tonight at all... so let's hope we play better tomorrow against Cornell. We're going to need it.

Clarkson, Cornell, Yale all lose ahead of us... the tie helps. We're one point behind Yale. (Those late PPs vs Yale... aauuugh)

We have to thank Scotty tonight-he let only one in and that was a deflection. Rock solid otherwise. He will need to be the same tomorrow. Offense will be tough again to find tomorrow. I must say, this might be the first dumas reffed game that i have seen where he was not the center of attention(although i would like a little explanation of the non-goal with 19 seconds left in the third period).

St. Lawrence and Brown both lose at home, to Dartmouth and Princeton respectively, so RPI has a little more breathing room ahead of those teams.

Do you live that far from the Whale? North or south of the cemetery? (Almost asked if you were above or below the cemetery... :o) Or off Sachem or Prospect?

Now DJ Scooter is on werpi...

Ditto. The Colgate video wasn't crisp (thank you, rpi.tv) and I really wonder if that was a high stick deflection anyway.

So we're now 1 point behind Yale and 4 points behind Cornell and Clarkson. We really need 2 tomorrow. Go RED!!

i watched it both times they showed it reviewed-it looked pretty good but as you said not crystal clear. I have to think it was the right call. I only question(and only because I could not hear any whistle) the second posible RPI goal at 19 seconds left in the third. No question it eventually went in and also possibly covered by a Colgate player other than the goalie either in the crease or pulled out of the goal. If the whistle blew-then so be it. if not-then they missed one. Might make up for the Brown goal that was disallowed last week-i thought for sure that was a good goal against us.

According to Google Maps, I live a mile away from the Whale. I'm just north of the cemetery, but on the opposite side of campus (near I-91).

I'm not going to comment on a play 200 feet from me when I am at effectively ice level. I didn't even know the puck went in, and the goal light didn't come on. I was shocked they reviewed it.

OK, back, and this was actually a pretty decent game, and would have been even if we didn't get the goal in the 60th minute. Are there still some discipline issues to work on when it comes to stupid penalties? Absolutely. I'm not going to complain about the offense aside from the usual pass-pass-turnover PP because we did have great looks, and sometimes you just run into a hot goaltender; that's going to happen. At least we saved Haggs-from-Diesel for the end, and I was shocked Colgate didn't look for it. And that deflection on the Colgate goal? That sort of stuff happens as well. Our players wanted a high stick, but I seem to recall it going off an RPI player, meaning a good goal. And it was right in front of me, too.
