T3W is seriously considering visiting tDuluth to cover Saturday hockey and Sunday basketball for TDaily TMining TGazette, but just as importantly, for a chance to see tDECC and to get out of tHoughton for once. If t3W wanted to stay in or near tDuluth without breaking tbank, where would tnatives suggest? Also, if t3W went, would anyone be interested in meeting t3W? T3W doesn't drink talcohol much, but would prefer not to drive all the way to tMinnnesota to sit in thotel room all tnight.

Pickwick (Think Ambo without fishbowls but 1919 Rootbeer on tap)

Grandmas Restaurant

Coney Island (love it or hate it)

Little Angies (Huge margaritas and great chips and salsa, its probably not worth the food just those two)

Hells Kitchen (great pancakes and sweet potato fries that come with burgers are awesome)

Any generic tourist place on Canal Park is my fav

tAnchor in Superior, its worth a trip to dirty Soup Town

My favorite of all time, Pizza Luce

If one has access to toven, then tVIP Pizza is recommended by tBrenthoven, unless tVIP Pizza has toption for cooked pizza nowadays.

tctf has got to be pretty certain who t3W is by now, considering he showed up at a dodgeball tournament to help tMrs./Coach T win a bet against tctf, IIRC. And tCopper Kings played tonight, then Thursday and (if/when) they win that one, their next match would be on the following Tuesday.

tctf sadly hasn't payed enough attention to her volleyball team this year. :(
tctf still thinks that was a very fantastic bet. was t3W there for the highlight of tnight which involved tctf?

tVIP is very close to Biddco's house. For Techies staying at Biddco's it could be an option.

Clearly, tctf needs to read TDaily TMining TGazette to find out more about tCopper Kings.

T3W probably missed that. It was on a Friday, and he had to go back to Houghton and put out tnewspaper.

tctf does read it, frequently, actually. It's the only way she knows anything.

tctf had a pie thrown in her face by the winner of a raffle. tgirl who did it just happened to be her ex-best friend/worst enemy.

Agree, there should be checking of Adrian's schedule to see if some of the more Ann Arbor located posters can get some hockey and bacon in some time. :D

tMisfits would attempt this if we were doing a NMU trip this year. tMisfits had a line snaking all the way through the Marquette Wendy's last year. :D
