BPH has always been curious about Gronk's. He would not have imagined that a place called "Gronk's" would be known for much of anything besides pronounced browlines and long, hairy arms.

tAnchor is inconsistent these days. HumRsky has had a couple of the best burgers ever and a couple very mediocre burgers just in the last year. Gronks is good, not as good as tAnchor when tAnchor is good.

WCHAFOREVER would like to correct that tGronk's isn't down tTower Ave, but rather going east on tUS2 towards tMichigan.

Biddco wonders why tBrenthoven is worried about updates on Duluth tv? Why not just ask a friend to find the score on their smartphone?

Biddco is leaving for Duluth in 1 hr. Biddco cannot wait, he has not been to Duluth since early November.

tDiva would like to warn people that it is snowing quite significantly in Duluth, and tRoads are not being cleared. tDiva has been told by several customers that tRoads are quite bad. Not that tDiva is worried about tMisfit contingent or tTwin Cities folk, but just to warn those arriving to be on tLookout for idiots who cannot drive in snow.

While tDiva's ride home at 3pm was significantly 5hitty because tCity of Duluth apparently won't plow until tSnow stops falling, tSnow has stopped falling and tDiva finally saw a plow go by.

Ciskie does the sports report on the radio station Diva listens to in the morning. The DJ's were so wired/distracted this morning that he barely made it through amidst the shenanigans.
In other news, despite the suggestion of MEg that she wear the #24 authentic tonight, Diva will be playing the "she's indifferent" card and will be wearing a Vermont replica, for funsies.

tDiva also seconds tVotes for tDuluth Grill, tBrewhouse, Clyde Iron, and tRustic Inn.
More recommendations from tDiva-- Uncle Loui's Cafe (small diner on 4th St near 6th Ave E--awesome food, good for the after effects of a night out.) Another place worth trying is Tycoon's (new place on Superior, owned by the same people that own tBrewhouse).

DULUTH — Hacienda del Sol Mexican restaurant in downtown Duluth is temporarily closed to repair damages from a kitchen fire.

Owner Kevin Deutsch said a broiler flared up, and the fire traveled up the back side of the hood just before the dinner rush on June 12. There was damage to the downstairs eating area and one of the restaurant’s two kitchens.

Deutsch said the fire triggered the restaurant’s automatic alarm. Duluth Acting Assistant Fire Chief Jerry Keppers said there was no report of the fire.

The restaurant at 319 E. Superior St. continued to serve customers through Saturday, when Deutsch closed shop because of safety concerns. They had been using the restaurant’s second kitchen, which Deutsch said is too small to handle the summer rush of customers.

“It wasn’t a decision we were happy to make, but potential safety was the overriding concern,” he said. “We’re trying to move as quickly as we can.”

Deutsch said there is extensive water damage.

The restaurant, which has a staff of about 19 people, will post information about its reopening on its Facebook page.

tBrenthoven is unimpressed with the enforcement of the rules at AmsOil.

tBrenthoven was very entertained by tgame last night. tBrenthoven also was impressed with tlayout/selection of whiskey at tDuhblinner, but was umimpressed with tcrowd. Lot's of bros and skanks. Of course, it IS a college town. Still.....

AmsOil is also a cute little arena. Slightly better than MTU's rink. ;)

Breakfast soon, then tAnchor bar. And more SENANICANS!

This is tBrenthoven hijacking tdiva's account, since stupid Apple/parental controls/FM remotely controlling the computer is ruining tBrenthoven's morning....anyway, mucho SENANICANS, and soon we are off to breakfast. Monster Rehabs consumed by all, and here's to another fun game tonight!

Biddco is very disappointed in his hockey team. They simply stopped playing. Credit to Tech for not stopping believing. It must be nice to have a real moral victory for once :)

While it is a tie that feels like a loss, UMD is number one in the PWR thanks to a BU loss. It is the cherry on top of poo.

UMD needs to figure out the PP And fast. It is now last in
the WCHA... no matter how crappy Sandelin era teams have been, you could always count on a killer PP. for the first time ever it seems the PP stinks. Fix it please.

And lastly, Jack's streak came to an end. :( the hunt for Hobey is over ;)
It took three games but they were able to stop him. Here is to Jack killing it tonight
