Unless a forward or two turn pro this summer, getting a spot on any line will be very competitive.

According to Jeremy Dewar, Baker and VanVliet are delayed to 2025 and will play in the USHL this year.
That’s my understanding. Also hearing Mikey DeAngelo who had an impressive year at Green Bay will be arriving this year. DeAngelo and Vansaghi could be paired with Stramel.I assume Vansaghi is still on track for this fall? Interesting, as I believe he is very young, but I don’t pay too close attention to these things. However, I thought he was the most noticeable of the 3 when we played the U18’s last year.
Potter decommits. He wants to enroll this fall. If the rumors are true and he's going to Arizona State, he also probably wants top-six playing time.
Regardless, it's a bummer.
So, who fills the Colorado College-sized hole in our schedule? Looks like it won't be anyone from Atlantic. (Their composite schedule was released today. MSU's on there, but in the places you'd expect - twice at Canisius at the end of October.)
I think Western had to bail on a series with BGSU due to a scheduling mishap so I know BG has 2 dates to spare but not the same weekend. Not ideal but it wouldn’t be hard to squeeze a home and home in somewhere. Would we insist on making up both home games or would CC’s cancellation fee soften that blow?
I doubt that Bowling Green would want to play both on the road since the planned Western series was a home and home. I also noticed that the AHA schedule had Robert Morris playing an exhibition game at BG that is not currently on BG's schedule.
We should schedule Alaska-Anchorage for the newly-open weekend and give them CC's cancellation money. Two reasons:Well, I was told by a MSU coach that the CC contract called for a sizable cancellation fee. In addition to a home and home (assuming RIT game is moved) I could see BG playing both at MSU either for a piece of that cash or return series at BG in a future year.
Pretty sure it's because we're down to 14 home games. (Perhaps 13 if we're giving up a home conference game for the Wrigley thing.)Not sure what the big deal about a Home and Home vs. BG is!?!
That was the norm in the (Old) CCHA days! Quick trip either way.
BG has added a Thursday game against Western..so not a likely MSU opponent. In looking at available schedules the school with that weekend open and available games is Augustana. They have a partial CCHA schedule this year before fully joining next year.

Sharks fan here, what can you tell me about him?
