Interviews start Monday, who do you think MSU Mankato will hire as their new coach (Not necessarily the person you think they should hire):

I think it's a close battle between Fryklund and Harrington. The deciding factor may come down to experience. If Amber had been a college head coach, I would have no problem with her getting it. Coach Harrington has the college head coaching experience, just not on the women's side. Either way they should be able to have a better chance recruiting than past Maverick coaches. Verizon Center is a lot better facility than All Seasons. That will be their permanent home instead of going back and forth.

I was very Mutch surprised at that omission by shelfit.
I guess there is a small STACK of former coaches piling up.
Mutch's situation was quite different in that she pursued him from the time she was a recruit because she thought he was cute or something ridiculous like that. He married a former player from the 98 Olympic team as well. He was an assistant coach for that team.

Interviews have concluded. Poll closes tomorrow. Again, I think Schuler is the best option. Schuler or Fryklund would be the first female head coach in MSU Women's Hockey history.

I was thinking the same thing just yesterday that maybe none of the 3 finalists wanted the job. Must have been that highly influential poll they saw on uscho.com. Maybe that Who Cares guy will take the job after all.
