Motorsports 2026

I feel like this race will come down to attrition. Cars are bouncing off the guardrails, curbs, each other. Brakes are self combusting.

Might be the best Monaco race in a while!

I wish I could agree, but I only expect that for the opening straight. After that, whoever is leading controls the race. And their teammate controls the field. So today should be the race.

Amazing how the asphalt patch is starting to unravel due to the heat and tires causing Stroll and Leclerc to understeer directly into the barrier, and both drivers blame the car (engine for Stroll, brakes for Leclerc).

Not much to do right now other than sweep up the race track and tell the drivers to avoid that spot.

So many passes and chaos due to penalties and crashes. Perez could get Caddies first point, or he could get another grid spot penalty and let Alonso get one point.

Amusing that the track is coming apart, since this is the classic street race.

Hadjar with a provisional third place as race stewards are still investigating a potential red flag penalty.

Really hoping Perez doesn't get penalized and gets Cadillac's first point.

So. Many. Penalties. 😂😂

Russell is such a twat. 🤣
I never really had an opinion of him one war or another, but after seeing his actions today, I 100% agree. 😂

I literally laughed out loud when it was announced on Sky (I'm cheap and refuse to pay Apple so I found a pirate feed) that during the red flag Russell went directly to the stewards office to plead his case on the drive through penalty AND to raise hell about Hadjar laying back too far on restarts.

If it stands, I’m impressed by Hadjar’s podium. Car wasn’t good and he fought through it.
It’s been a while, so it’s interesting that the red flag infringement is still under investigation.

So is Perez for the restart grid position.

Lots on the line for both, Hadjar’s first podium, Cadillacs first points ever, or Aston’s first points for this dreadful season.

Perez’s doesn’t surprise me, the announcers were pretty adamant he was way out of position. But they never showed the issue with Hajar….
Sounds like they were working on the car during the red flag. When caught, they put everything back.

I’m sure the Red Bull line is they didn’t know or forgot, and I believe neither.

I get that Checo is really trying to check off all of Cadillac's firsts this season, but goddammit. Between being penalized in Canada, and the multiple offenses in Monaco.... ugh.
