"Paint thinner...packers...cheese....beer....packers......packers....bucky football...." Hockey is an after thought to most over there, even though I would hope it isn't for people on this board.

See? It doesn't take too much to figure out what goes through the heads of people over there. :D

We're just really good at multi-tasking... out of necessity. You see, we have so many things worth multi-tasking over.

If you guys are ever good at hockey again, maybe you can get back to two sports. ;)

Hold on just a minute... you calling us a one sport state? I challenge you to get 25 miles outside of madison and find someone who is not a member of this board who can tell you the results of the past weekend series. That has to play a roll in your definition.

Well, if they stay injury free and nobody flees the program, there is probably a tournament appearance and a participation ribbon somewhere down the road.

To be fair you go 25 miles outside of Madison and they have only recently gotten running water, electricity and tooth brushes.

What hotel do the rodents stay at then the are in town? (I know it may be construed as a dumb question as we all know the rodents live in tunnels in the ground, but it is frozen this time of year so I suspect they'll get a hotel.) I ask because my kid's grade school is playing in a bb tourney in Madison this weekend and they stay at the Crown Plaza. I'd love to stay at the same hotel the rodents do to taunt them.

Have the grade school kids taunt the goofs; they're on the same level.

Exactly. I'll grant you there may be some casual fans out there, but not dedicated enough to be able to provide details about a series that just happened unless it's a major rivalry. *note, this does not apply to bucky football but I have years of anecdotal evidence to back that up regarding hockey. So that makes my claim irrefutable. :)

They do not stay at the Crown Plaza. I'd like to say they stay someplace decent, but we are talking about Madison (where they still advertise televisions now in technicolor).

In Minnesota we would never guide our kids into bb. Only in Wisconsin would anybody do that. Just sayin.
