MN had an open net to shoot at and hit the pipe with a little over a minute left in the 3rd.

UND set up their chance with about 20 seconds left by slashing Fairchild's stick out of his hands (no call).

Minnesota had their chances late but as to now it comes down to not being able to score when they need to, and not being able to hold when they need to.
