How coincidental, Fox Sports Detroit, now
owned by Sinclair, doesn’t show the BLM recognition or anthem live. First ever Opening Day I can recall that happening.

Only three undefeated teams left after two days.

Not that it really means anything, but it's low compared to the last five years. Usually there are 5-7 after the first two games of the year.

MLB being unable to last a week is going to be what finally makes college Presidents Nope right out of college football for fall. And once football goes, well college athletics might be back by 2021-22

Question now is how many more teams have this happen? If it was a couple weeks ago...is it in the Braves org? How about Philly? If this is as contagious as we think it is...this could wildfire through baseball fast.

The current divisional split would allow for the possibility of a shutdown of the East while the Central and West continue, but that just seems foolish and I can’t imagine they would continue play without a third of their teams. And who’s to say an outbreak won’t happen in the other divisions.

As it is, if they want to continue to play, the Marlins will essentially have to field a minor league team with minor league coaches. Otherwise you make them forfeit/cancel until they’re healthy, or just call their season off and go by winning percentage for the playoffs.

First and foremost they have to actually be serious about protocols. Players and coaches need to wear masks, and wear them properly, and only those in the lineup should be allowed in the dugout, the rest should be spaced apart in the stands.

To answer your question, if the Phillies have multiple positive cases then the season is over. So, two teams.
