The Yankees broadcasters were saying yesterday there is no way they can see the Players Association agreeing to this proposal.

They also brought up the issue of the players' children. If they want to move their families to where they play, their kids have to constantly be changing schools.

Watching Twins relievers is not a good time. They are always right on the edge of failure.

On Friday, Dodgers' rookie Matt Beaty hit a walkoff homerun to beat the Rockies.

On Saturday, Dodgers' rookie Alex Verdugo hit a walkoff homerun to beat the Rockies.

This was the first time in the history of baseball that one team's rookies hit walkoff homeruns in back-to-back games.

On Sunday, Dodgers' rookie Will Smith hit a walkoff homerun to beat the Rockies.

Wilkin Castillo has a two game hitting streak. Big deal, you say? Well:

June 20 2009 he hit an RBI single.
June 22 2019 he hit an RBI double.
3,654 days between those hits. :eek:

I come from LI, too. However, I was "smart" enough only to latch onto the Jets. (I did like the Nets, too, in the ABA but when they sold off Dr. J after joining the NBA and then moved to NJ, I didn't care anymore.)

That was my entire pro hoops fan career as well.

Huntington, here. Famous for our bars. This guy is the most noted alumnus of my high school. Left in '81 and have rarely been back. Save the beaches; nuke the people.

It sounds to me that he was entirely in the right and just ran into a JockSpasm (TM).
