MLB 2018.2: Postseason, Free Agency, and Awards

Re: MLB 2018.2: Postseason, Free Agency, and Awards

Hes only 37. So he could play and manage. Weird.

He has some condition that made him retire early. He was a potential superstar before being diagnosed, hence the early retirement.]
In 2005, Baldelli's career was derailed by a rare metabolic/muscular disorder that caused frequent soft tissue injuries, fatigue, and other ailments.

Eovaldi should get a distinguished service cross for that performance. Unreal.

Re: MLB 2018.2: Postseason, Free Agency, and Awards

At 7:20, that game took longer than the entire 1939 WS. Yanks swept the Reds in a combined 7:05.

What is up with Marlins guy? Hes been sitting behind home plate wearing the same thing since the start of the NLCS. I assumed it was a Yelich Marlins Jersey, but hes still doing it at the world series

It's a lawyer from Miami with too much money who likes to be at all the big sporting events, and wears the obnoxious orange Marlins jersey as a way to be spotted on TV.

Many stories have been written about him.

Also, if you were watching any of the NLCS games from Miller Park, the eye candy to his right (TV left) was "Front Row Amy" (and they're not an item); she's a die-hard Brewers fan who actually has those seats for season seats and is at most games. And is one of the rare people to actually keep score at a game (the notebook she had all game).

To Marlins Man's left (TV right) on Game Seven of the NLCS was White Sox superfan "M&Ms Jacket Man" who can be seen at US Cellular Field (Guaranteed Rate Field/New Comiskey) in Chicago. M&Ms guy is the owner of M&M Limo in Chicago and also has season seats in the front row. He also wears the jacket even in the middle of summer to easily be spotted.

Someone had a good tweet about Marlins Man that was something along the lines of, "I like that Marlins Man maintains his objectivity at neutral games by staying on his phone the entire time."

If the Dodgers win game 4, there will be a super sports equinox in Los Angeles.

Last night's win was enough.

Kings, Ducks, Dodgers, Rams, Clippers, Galaxy, and they're all at home.

Anyone on an LA freeway on that day deserves a medal.

ETA: Chargers are not at home, and forgot Clippers.

No one blames you for forgetting the Chargers and Clippers.

Machado steps on another firstbasemans foot. That POS better get dotted numerous times next year

So Hill says he told Roberts to keep an eye on him because he may begin to falter. Odd, but a three pitch strikeout, a line (when he left) of 6.1 1 0 0 3 7 and a 4-0 lead doesn't look like faltering to me. Hindsight is 20/20 but it seems to me that Hill should have remained in the game unless HE specifically asked to come out after striking out Nunez. Certainly many thought Cora left Eduardo Rodriguez in too long, but Roberts took him off the hook by taking out Hill too soon. Turning point of another World Series win for Boston most likely.

Uh-oh. The ice is getting thin under the Dodgers. Betts and JD have homered in the last two innings.
