Cubs are the only team I've seen so far with a good 4th of July alternate. For whatever reason they gave Detroit red letters and it looks awful.

The Nationals are 7 games out in the East and probably won't make it to the first round.

Lucroy screwed up so much in that 11th. Bad framing cost Treinen some precious strikes, then he missed the tag on the tying run. And then whatever the hell this was

A's take 3 of 4 from the Astros in Houston and were a disastrous Lucroy inning away from a four game sweep. This team is on fire and with a makeshift rotation! Good work by the bullpen this series.

Red Sox are currently on pace for 112 wins, while the Orioles are on pace for 117 losses. If that happens, the O's would finish 67 games back.

That would be a modern day record, AL record, and would be the second most in MLB history behind the 1899 Cleveland Spiders, who basically own every record related to worst team.

A's hold on for a tight 4-3 win over the Giants in the Battle of the Bay, and have cut the Mariners' WC2 lead to 4 games.

Petit and Trivino were unreal tonight, and Treinen was when he wasn't walking McCutchen and Posey back-to-back to put the winning run on base...

And at the current rate the A's take the rubber match. Giants keep getting within spitting range of the NL West lead and then start backing off.

Edit: The As have had like 4 hits to the exact same spot in a row.
