Looking like a good chance the Tigers have Opening Day pushed back to Friday.

Not really sure what to expect out of the Giants this year but anything has to be better than the 98 losses last year. Bumgarner & Jeff Samardzija both open the season on the DL but they did pick up a couple of much needed bats in Longoria and McCutchen so we'll see how it plays out. Rockies, D'backs and dodgers all made the playoffs out of the NL West last year.

The first sad news of the season hits us on opening day. Rusty Staub passed away.
