Did the runner on second assume he had been tagged out? The 2B initially made a movie towards second before throwing to third, so the runner might have not realized he still had a chance to get back.

Yogi turned 90 on Tuesday.

He's confined to a wheelchair, and didn't speak at his celebration. If I had to guess, those are bad signs, even if he is 90.

Zsa Zsa is sad but still is checking off her list.

Seriously, that sucks. :(

Cardinals have never won a series against the Indians. only active team they haven't won against. Weird stat.

Re: MLB 2015 - Meet the new boss, same as the old boss!

Wait, what? Seriously?

Not that surprising. Only 18 years they could've played them outside of the Series. Then you factor in the divisional rotations, so that's six series possible since they aren't "rivals". Plus, the NL had more teams until Houston moved, meaning 14 of the 16 would get one less series against the AL each year.

Ah, what the hell am I saying. It's the Indians. How have they won against the Cardinals is the real question.

Yeah, that's my point. It's the friggin Indians and Cardinals.

Kluber tossed a gem. Rubber match today to decide if that Cards stat lives on.

A-Rod has double digit home runs on May 16. Hate him, tolerate him, love him... Whatever category you fall into, I doubt anybody expected this so far.

Once a juicer...

Which begs the question: If he isn't doing it now, and if he can do it at his age after having taken a year off, why was he such a moron to do it in the first place?

Because he was a moron?

Kind of answered your own question there. ;)

Most people do it to heal more quickly than they would without. That's my guess.

Or, he found a new substance that isn't detected.

Bumgarner takes Kershaw deep. That's his 7th career HR in 308 ab.

Pitcher on pitcher crime!

He's hitting HR at almost the same rate as Mauer for his career. ;)

Was at the Red Sox game tonight - it was Luis Tiant bobble head night!!! Anyway, not the reason for this post. I noticed that there is now a clock that counts down time between each half of an inning. Not sure if that's for the batter to start the inning or the pitcher. At any rate, neither team ran out of time, but my question is - what if they had? What is the penalty? It's not like they play with 8 players. Is it an automatic out? What if it's the pitcher's fault? The Red Sox were so terrible I spent most of my time at the game trying to figure it out.
