Re: MLB 2014: I paid the $20 mil posting fee for the right to start this thread

What I WANT to happen:

Royals over A's
Pirates over Giants

Orioles over Tigers
Royals over Angels

Pirates over Nationals
Dodgers over Cardinals

Royals over Orioles
Pirates over Dodgers

Royals over Pirates. I debated this one a lot. Both teams have had some pretty harsh seasons in the last 15 years, and I know KC has won more recently than Pit, but I feel like they've been a bit lower than the Pirates, especially the past few seasons. Plus they have some of my favorite ex-Brewers.

What I think will happen:

what JF said, except with the A's beating the Royals, and the Angels winning everything.

Here we go, Cardinals, here we go! *clap clap*

I don't think it's a surprise I would relate more to perennial losers. :)

So it'll probably end up Oakland v San Francisco. :D

The A's are super banged up which is unfortunate. Donaldson got injured recently, Crisp has had nagging injuries even before he ran into the wall vs Angels, Jaso is done for the year, Blanks is done for the year, Moss has some type of bone on bone contact in his hip every time he swings the bat. Vogt I think is fine but he has some type of nagging issue which is why he can't platoon at catcher.

They might beat the Royals on the road but even if they do I doubt they go much further :(

Prince Fielder is laughing at that baserunning.

Well, then. That turned in a hurry.

It's quite apparent Ace Ventura has approximately diddly-squat tonight.

That "woogity woogity....BANG!!" sound you just heard was the wheels falling off for the Royals.

7-3 Oakland. The only time a team from Oakland will ever be on top of a team from KC by that score. Lord knows it won't happen in the NFL.
