George Brett can eat a big ol' bag of dicks, but congrats to KC. It will be difficult watching you lose the WS to whichever soulless team wins the NLCS.

I haven't seen a bunch of Royals destroy a group since I watched Game of Thrones.

Nice dive, AJ.

He did get hit by the bat and it was a good call from the ump. That said, he didn't need to go for the Oscar like he did (though he may have just slipped on the plate when he moved to make the throw).

The Kansas City Royals have not lost a playoff game since October 23, 1985. :D

Random Mexican restaurant here has an electronic sign that says "Go Royals".

Through the LCS, the Royals are one play-in game better than the 2007 Rockies. I predict the end result will be the same.

Re: MLB 2014: I paid the $20 mil posting fee for the right to start this thread

As the Rockies and Tigers (twice :( ) have showed us, it's not very good to sweep the LCS and just sit around. Those three teams went 1-12 in the WS.

That was a great leaping catch by Sandoval on that line drive. To be frank, I didn't think he could jump that high.

Chris Isaak? After 1991, I thought he disappeared forever.

Well, then. There's a good way to end a series.
