MLB 2012, Part 1 - It's here

Re: MLB 2012, Part 1 - It's here

White Sox ALDS tickets go on sale at Noon CST today.... If me buying those isn't a kiss of death for the playoffs I don't know what is :p

Re: MLB 2012, Part 1 - It's here

Well, got 4 tickets to "Home Game #2" for the Sox in the ALDS... I can't for the life of me find the playoff formats on MLB.com however.... Since the Sox will only get in via winning the Central, this means I have tickets to Game 4 in the series, right?

This year the format is 2-3 with the higher seed getting the final 3 games at home...so If Chicago is the lower seed you would have tickets to Game 2.

Re: MLB 2012, Part 1 - It's here

Interesting news out today, MLB has announced their 2013 schedules

Good news, everyone! The Pirates will have a home game the Friday of the Frozen Four.

Ok... I couldn't remember if it was 2-2-1 or not.... Thanks for clarifying...

Re: MLB 2012, Part 1 - It's here

Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria is ****ed at Ozzie Guillen. Guillen states that if he's fired, Loria needs to "take a look in the mirror to figure out why so many *ing managers come through here."

While this is true, I'm amazed that it took this long for this fuse to get lit.

Boom goes the dynamite!

Take a wild guess which MLB announcer is the most biased of all the teams. Interesting article.

edit: the Rays have a Brian Anderson too??

104 blatantly biased comments per game? That is seriously pathetic. The next closest is 23 comments.

I'm impressed (amazed?) anyone could sit through nine innings of his drivel.

Remember when for MNF we would turn down the TV sound and turn up the radio for Jack Buck & Hank Stram? Pale Hose fans could do that too. Fortunately, MLB.TV gives us that option. Don't think Extra Innings does though.

That number seems low.
It got to the point very quick where watching games against the Twins (the only way we could see them) required the mute button for the whole thing.

Sad thing is a lot of White Sox fans love him for how he is.

Even Glen Sonmor says that Hawk is overboard as a homer.

Re: MLB 2012, Part 1 - It's here

Doug Fister sets an AL record with 9 consecutive strikeouts. One short of the MLB record.
