Minnesota Women's Hockey 2025-26

If nothing else, I'd like to get back to a point where Wisconsin players view Minnesota as their chief rival.

This is the rub with the current staff in place. They have a large facilities advantage over the yuckers. They also sit right in the heart of the best girls high school hockey in the Unitied States. With those advantages how the frick did this program fall behind both slOwSU and the sinners. The only conclusion that I come to is that the tunnelers staff has been outworked and outcoached by both slOwSU and the sinners...

Or they are targeting the wrong players. Probably a bit of both.

It’s all about money nowadays…. Broomhilda throws the most at the top recruits and transfers
Trying to understand the Broomhilda reference?

I think Minnesota just got complacent. And it’s hard. I would not count them out at all to win a national championship, but like others you get the sense they are waiting out MJ’s retirement.

Classy . Looking forward to the day you are bored of this place and leave. Weird thing is you seem to know a lot about USA hockey. So you’re either connected with them or the parent of someone. Gross

Honestly if I am stupid it’s fine. Carry on. I don’t understand why she’s Broomhilda but carry on. I did Google, apparently there’s a Django Unchained parallel and some myth or something.

I’ve never heard of a wicked witch of the south. I believe they identify as affiliated with Darth Vader. Carry on. I was grumpy this morning. Apologies, I’m legitimately mad about things that have nothing to do with this place

A shame to be mad… it’s not worth it.

I took it, generally, as a reference to "The Wizard of Oz", where the witch trying to get the ruby slippers from Dorothy (they were the 'silver shoes' in the book) is the Wicked Witch of the West. Her sister is the Wicked Witch of the East. But... Glinda is the Good Witch of the South, the one who helps Dorothy on her journey to see the Wizard. (There's also a Good Witch of the North, but I don't remember her having any particular role in the book or movie.)

So the reference - if that's what he intended - is a bit jumbled.

(But the question the movie poses remains a valid one: Are you a good witch, or a bad witch?)
