Minnesota @ Wisconsin - 2/19/11

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin - 2/19/11

Good first 2 periods by both teams, but it's time for me to head to work. Good luck both ways, would love to see a repeat of this series in about 3 weeks.

Have a good one boys

The Gophers are going to have to break the mold to pull this one out....they're 1-5-1 when trailing after 2. But in a playoff atmosphere like this anything can happen.

Much better period by MN. The PP looks sharp, except they have gone back to the miss-the-net strategy

FWIW, I thought both those calls that led to the MN 5-3 were horrible. The refs are just getting in the way tonight.

The stage is set for an exciting 3rd period.
So much for all those predictions about a lot of chippyness and bad blood. I think as long as this game stays tied, there won't be too many extracurriculars.
If one team gets the lead though, we may see some tempers flare.

We're trailing now?

Edit: CC lost so this is a good chance to leap a couple of teams in the standings.

Where's our buddy Brent? Did he pass out with a beer in his hand?
Probably out on the town with bbdl and company.

Nice pass from Fairchild and nice finish by Cepis.

And wisconsin ties it. I'd say blame the stupid drop pass on the rush at the other end since that turnover led to the puck being in MN's end in the first place.
