Minnesota @ Wisconsin 11/12/11

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin 11/12/11

Wisconsin's student section is loud, vocal, and into the game. Minnesota's student section texts each other about the next Hollister 30% off sale.

Meh...I'll take ours.
The announcers just said, "You can really hear the sounds of the game...because it is so quiet in here." They must not agree.

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin 11/12/11

Hahahahahahahaha UW's D got the puck chipped by him and tripped a MN player to nullify the powerplay just six seconds in.

And UW ties it on a tic-tac-toe goal. MN's D alignment got screwed up there - three MN players all got sucked over to the left point.

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin 11/12/11

Crappy ice, too, but wouldn't surprise me if WI did that on purpose. It slows the game down, advantage WI.

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin 11/12/11

The facility is also used for bouncy ball, so ice issues are not at all unexpected.

Little man skills from a big man? I'm not touching that one.

End of the first, 1-1 game.

MN had several more chances and generally carried the play in that period. They look a lot better than at any point last night.
