Look like a major penalty on Wisconsin.

Wow. Wisconsin got royally screw on that one. There was no contact to the head. not even close.

Neutral party here...how do you get a contact to the head penalty when you don't actually make contact with the head? That was 2 minutes at best. Terrible call.

They're giving Mersch 5 minutes.

You have to think that Rau will draw a lot of these types of calls throughout the season - either Elbowing or Contact to the Head - given his height.

It happened to a Gopher guy earlier this year. Bad hit, similar to this, and they called it.

The ref making the call didn't have the greatest angle, that's how. I'm curious what was being said during the officials' conference on ice.

The angle made it difficult if not impossible to tell if any contact to the head was made - there was a zebra in the way.

The first 80 seconds of this powerplay have been putrid.

MN is doing a terrible job of finding shooting lanes.

Terrible powerplay. Just terrible.

If they don't score early in the 3rd, UW will have all the momentum and it will be an ugly finish.

MN is either taking ill-advised shots that are getting blocked, or they are rifling it over the top of the net. They need to keep it low and get it through to the net and capitalize on the inevitable rebounds/deflections.
