I don't know - I think they gave up after falling behind 2-0. You could also argue they gave up after the failed Cepis breakaway.

I like how MN promptly lost the battle for the loose puck in the UMD end and then didn't even try to stop the ensuing rush / empty net goal. Pretty well summarizes the entire season right there - all that was missing was a bonehead play by Fischer.

It was weak, but I can't blame him for the goal, either. It's probably an ENG with or without 100% effort there.
