I have been to Gary, I have been to KC...its closer than it should be ;)

To be fair I only was in Gary for like 10 minutes and that was at a Dunkin Donuts but KC was LAME!

KC deserves an All-Star Game like Atlanta deserves a hockey team. (or well any sports team for that matter :p )

Sounds like Cuddyer is playing Third tonight, which is where he should have started the year.

Hudson is back tonight as well.

Well... he did give Mr. Mauer his big pile of money. While there were other mitigating factors at work in that deal (like adverting a fan revolt that would burn Target Field to the ground had Joe walked away), if anyone could have screwed it up, it would seemingly have been Bill Simith :)

That said, I think--at this point in the season where the Twins know what they need--giving up a bottom rotation/long reliever pitcher plus Ramos plus x prospect is completely reasonable for Cliff Lee. This should be no problem for Billy. The only reason it doesn't get done is if Seattle gets greedy and/or another team offers more.

Sweet. Just turned the game on and the Twins are only a touchdown and a 2pt conversion down just starting the 2nd quarter.

Yep, and he lasted all of 1 2/3 innings.

His WHIP is over 1.5 / ERA is just under 5 - and these numbers don't include tonight's abortion.

I say put him in long relief and give somebody else his spot in the rotation.

And who the **** keeps yelling "SWING!" during every pitch? That guy should be shot immediately.

Um, wasn't he a candidate for AL pitcher of the month last month? I thought I remember one of the twins announcers discussing this...

Edit: And no, I'm not thinking of liriano.
