Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: Part IV - Thome's Quest for 600

I would love if the Twins had one pitcher you could trust not to **** down their leg with a lead.

Especially when they see pinstripes. Seems like the only way to beat them is with a walk-off, so no Twins pitcher has to try and keep the lead. Of course, it would have to come off of Rivera, so maybe it isn't the best idea.

Also pretty funny that no one is freaked out that Crain is in the game. We would be code red any other season. :D

You do realize the Kubel GS was not a walk off right since it was in NY ;)

The Twins look defeated. I wouldn't be surprised if there is more damage done this inning.

Hopefully they can get a double play and put something together in the bottom of the inning to get some momentum back.

Normally I would agree that game 2 is more important (remember a few years back we won game 1 against the Yanks then lost 3 straight) but this team and this staff have shown no ability to beat the Yankees anywhere let alone at Yankee Stadium consistently so Game 1 is/was huge along with Game 2.

The fact that they could lose this way is going to weigh on them though...it is all too familiar.
