That makes sense, and maybe historically it's true, but the record this year doesn't really support it. In Fri-Sat home series where they've played the same school both nights, CC is 4-2 on Fridays, with 21 g scored and 19 allowed, and 3-2-1 on Saturdays, with 24 g scored, and 20 allowed. No real obvious Saturday fatigue for the visitors, except Duluth, who won 3-2 on Friday and got clubbed, 5-1 on Saturday.

Average goaltending, below average defense, and lack of hustle on offense did them in tonight. Then in the third they reverted to the jutting years with their lack of discipline. There were a couple of calls that I thought were missed and msu let it get in their heads. On the flip side, cc took advantage of every mistake msu made and buried the chances they had. I thought howe was fighting the puck at times and either cc's defense kept msu away from the rebounds or msu just didnt hustle. The third period msu just didnt seem to have their head in the game
