Minnesota State @ UW.... back to indoor hockey.

It's time for the stretch run and UW needs to take care of business in this series. Hopefully we don't take stupid penalties that will cost us points.

Re: Minnesota State @ UW.... back to indoor hockey.

I know the MacNaughton isn't the be all and end all for this team this year, but if we want any shot at it, this has to be a Badger sweep.

Re: Minnesota State @ UW.... back to indoor hockey.

Any particular reason for the 8:00 start time?

I believe the term used by most law enforcement types is "acute public intoxication"

If I had to guess, I would say bouncyball saturday afternoon, and they have to do the changeover.

Maybe it's because FSN is ACTUALLY covering both games. I'm in shock.

Isn't that just more proof that idiots are manning the controls? I mean of all the series to pick, the Mankato one?

(Never going to complain about more TV coverage though.)

Re: Minnesota State @ UW.... back to indoor hockey.

Another disappointing MSU season is in the home stretch.

Re: Minnesota State @ UW.... back to indoor hockey.

Where the hell is my thread? I've lost my home. Please help me.

Re: Minnesota State @ UW.... back to indoor hockey.

We are not going to want to come out of the gates sluggish against this team. MSU has 21 first period goals in WCHA play, while they have 11 and 17 in the 2nd and 3rd respectively. Hopefully the defense comes ready to play early.

Re: Minnesota State @ UW.... back to indoor hockey.

Maybe they don't trust people to be able to understand a difference between the two days, and want to keep it consistent for the whole weekend?

That thought did occur to me.

What I'd really like to see is Friday games start at 7:30 (so there's enough time after work to enjoy dinner and drinks before the game), and Saturday games start at 7:00. But perhaps, here too, the Athletic Department is worried people will get confused.

with the way ticket sales have gone this season, the less confusion the better. I'm guessing neither will be sellouts this weekend either... Thanks local media for ignoring the #3 team in the country... BRUTAL!
