Minnesota State at Colorado College 3/1

CC 0 MSU 0 - end of 1

CC 0 MSU 0 - end of 1

Couldn't make it to the game tonight, but plan to be there tomorrow for senior night. Will try to keep up with scoring here tonight.

Tigers poked one in with a minute and a half left in the period, but it was immediately waved off and then confirmed via review. Didn't hear an explanation.

No penalties (called!) in the period. Shots are 11-6 in favor of MSU, but sounded like CC had the better chances. Of course I'm listening to the CC radio guy, so who knows for sure...??? ;)

Go Tigers!

Margonari from Leitner and McInnis. Sounded like a lucky deflection right to Margonari, but you still gotta bury it...which he did.

Let's get it back CC!

Scott Winkler bangs in a rebound during a 5-min major penalty on MSU's Lehrke. Assists to Schwartz and Boivin. Tigers had 5x3 PP for the first 1:30 of the 5-min major, but finally got this goal 5x4.

Now a penalty on CC's Andrew Hamburg will wipe out just about all of the 5-min major.

SOG: MSU 16 CC 15.

Former Tiger Scott Thauwald's younger brother Charlie is a sophomore on the MSU roster, but it doesn't look like he made the trip.

Archie Skalbeck scores on the PP for CC. Gaede was in the box for tripping. Assists to Winkler and Harstad (good to have him back!).

Go Tigers!

Alexander Krushelnyski rifles a shot past Williams. Assist to Boivin. 5x5

Go Tigers!

Penalty on CC's Mike Boivin, and Hastings pulls Williams to give MSU the 6x4 advantage. Immediately backfired as Krushelnyski scores short-handed in the empty net, assisted by McDermott.

Go Tigers!

Convincing win for CC. Nice game by Tiger netminder Joe Howe, who really battled tonight and stopped 31 of 32 MSU shots.

Hope to see another Tiger victory tomorrow night. Go Tigers!
