End of the second. 4-1 SCSU. Terrible effort by the MN D so far. And the offense is now emulating them. Started off strong, and now it looks like they are going through the motions. Disgusting.

Don't know where you get that idea - it's downright comical how people repeatedly claim what others are thinking or saying with zero evidence to back it up.

Everything stated thus far has been conditional: IF they continue playing as they have for most of the season, THEN they should contend for the WCHA and be a factor in the NCAAs. Obviously if their defense bricks as it has in this game, they won't do those things.

At least the offense has generated chances, which is a step up from last Friday's abortion. However, the defense looks every bit as bad as it did last Friday. :rolleyes:

SOG 28-13, Chances 9-9 through 2 periods of play.

That replay of the PPG says it all: all four gopher D went to one side of the ice, and nobody paid attention to the guy streaking through the slot.
