Minnesota @ North Dakota 1/14/11

Re: Minnesota @ North Dakota 1/14/11

End of 1. I cannot say I'm disappointed in any way, shape, or form.

MN 2, UND 0.

Nor should you. That is the best I've seen Minnesota play all year (granted, i've really only seen them play 3 or 4 times). They took it to the Sioux from the drop of the puck and deserve the lead. Sioux haven't played all that poorly so far, and looked better after the first five minutes or so.

The first five minutes of the 2nd period will be big.

This game is reminding me of how well they played tUMD. UND's PP looked very good, it just somehow happened that MN found their PK. That was a clinic on both sides of the puck during that stretch.

Wow, 22-6 faceoff advantage for the Sue?! That could come back and bite the Gophers in the arse.
