Re: Minnesota @ North Dakota 1/14/11

Paging OMAHA and SEATTLE! Paging OMAHA and SEATTLE! Front and center you two. Move it. Move it. Hup, hup, hup, hup! Are either of you perpetual derelicts going to be able to post bail before the start of tonight's game?

For reasons surpassing any possible explanation the NoDak-Minnesota series is being telecast this weekend here in the Mile High City[rather than the vastly more important and compelling series between the Denvers and the Skating Mankatos].

Nevertheless, I will simultaneously watch the Golden Golfers and the Hostile and Abusives while listening to the radio feed of the Pioneers and the Purple Mankatos. Additionally, I will be keeping a close watch on this scoring thread to make sure you cretins behave yourselves. Personally, I'll be rooting for both teams to beat the fool outta each other.

I hope you boys have your usual ample supply of Mad Dog 20/20 on hand to help make watching the Fighting Hakstols an excruciatingly painful experience. I'll catch up with you two yahoos later in this thread. Carry on gents.:D

Interesting combo's surprised to see Condon on the 4th line and Schmidt playing wing on the 3rd.

I'm surpised that FSN North just wasted 5 minutes on Marni Gellner's Top 10 things to do in ND. At least this outdoorsman is somewhat entertaining when he's fumbling with his mike...

They'll be wasting another 5 minutes on it tomorrow when they do the top 5. Saying that, North Dakota Tourism is one of the main sponsors of the program, so that might have something to do with it.

I think one could make a case the whole 1/2 pregame show is wasted time ;)

Re: Minnesota @ North Dakota 1/14/11

Getting into the zone seems to be easier for the Gophers so far, but not a lot of opportunities for them so far.

Haula with a nice feed from Barriball, but he's unable to do anything with it and it deflects into the stands.

They've done a good job early on here of generating some opportunities. Sioux seem a little nervous to me, Gophers are playing relatively loose.
