This game is over. The Gophers ran into a very hot goalie this weekend. Nevertheless the Gophers have hit rock bottom in futility. A sweep by MSUM is an all time low this season.

Don and Maturi need to be run out on a rail or hung from a Dinkytown light pole..... this is Fing embarassing..... Looks like The Gophs could be playing two straight weekend up in Berrrrrmidji at this point :)

MSUM has owned the Gophers the last couple seasons. Unacceptable, I blame the coaching staff. Someone's head should roll.

85 SOG this weekend and Gophers score 3 goals. Congrats to MSUM and Phil Cook was stellar.

I know Minnesotans are passionate when it comes to the Gophers, but I have to say that out of all the teams in the WCHA, there are three, perhaps four whose fans have zero business wearing paper bags, ever. Minnesota is one of them.

Before you consider wearing bags, maybe try going on an eight game losing streak, get outscored 16-40 in that stretch, have four of your top six forwards get injured or kicked off the team, set the NCAA record for most losses in a single season, and pile it onto compiling losing records in 26 of your last 28 or so campaigns.

Yeah, Gopher fans definitely have it real tough and should be so embarassed as to not want to be identified. ;)
