And finally! Mercifully! Like a crippling case of the bends, this game comes to its inevitable, lame conclusion.

'Grats on the road sweep, Gophers.

Re: Minnesota @ Michigan Tech 11/20/10

I watched the video, which was bad, but I had payed for it already. I thought minnesota outplayed Tech all night. Though Tech got chances and failed to capitalize, but the territorial advantage went to um. Tech had too many times they were outskated. Um moved the puck well and played very good shutdown defense in the third though Tech did have some good chances, they didn't take advantage.
The best chance Tech had was about 3 minutes left when brown shot it into the pads with the whole net open, this would have made it a one goal game. Genoe played well,Often um had two on ones that shouldn't have been, except the Tech defender didn't defend well. the second goal for um took a lot out of Tech's sails.
Sometimes Tech would leave the weak side loosely covered and um was capitalizing especially in the second, often trying to deflect the puck from just in front off the pass.. There were a lot of scrums and I thought Tech didn't get the calls they should have, especially in the third.
On the goals in the second by um, Tech left hoeffel loose at the top of the circle and he blasted it in. um won more faceoffs as well. Patterson played very well. At the end patterson was huge.

This is part where we sit back in our heels and get peppered. In his post-game interview, Russell will say that after going down by two, "we were standing around looking for a leader", because "we're a young team", but it definitely wasn't anyone's fault, some unnamed guys just "didn't pull their weight", and "there will be some lineup changes next weekend".

Oh and something about not having the jump tonight.
When does the countdown start to replace Russell. He's been given many years to try and turn the hockey program around and he hasn't been able to do it. Enough is enough already. In the real world an employee would have been fired by now. I'm sick and tired of the excuses week after week.
