p.s. You all are welcome for the :) after the Wisconsin fools messed up the series thread last weekend.;)

Sorry Michigan, you're horrible and a PWR wrecker. Minnesota must sweep if at all possible. Do it for the math.

Re: Minnesota @ Michigan 3/3 & 3/4

BTW- is everyone (besides Novak) back healthy?
Word over on GPL is that Szmatula will not play this weekend.

One would have to hope it is precautionary at this point to make sure he's back to 100% or close to it for playoffs.

I heard Don Lucia say hopefully he'll be back this weekend, but maybe that's premature. If so, that's not good. The third line is much weaker without him and the PP as well. Romanko does not have the stick skills to fill that spot, he's more of a 4th line role player with a strong work ethic. But he's not ready to support that line. I think Michigan is ready to play the spoiler...watch out.

I'm in the camp where you don't push him. If he's totally healthy play him, if not then no.

Having said that, often when someone is out...those games can go in the tank. I can't recall the first series Szmatula was out (OSU?)...but pretty sure we dropped a game. And we don't do wonderfully in the Mariucci without at max a couple of WJC players. We will have to keep the fire going.
