So am I. For all the talent we are supposed to have, it's only translated to the ice a handful of times. And it seems to have gone the other way more often than not- the start to our season was tough- and even though we thought we turned a corner in November, BC reminded us that we have not.

It means you (from one perspective) have more talent under 20.

Rau, Skjei, and Reilly all went to the World Juniors in the past.

We've been just as big of underachievers :p

But I think we can all agree that the biggest underachiever is becky, she really sucks arse.

I mean 2 wins come on, even American International has more than 2 wins.

Hilarious. When or if I have brought this up, since, I'm "a whiner that won't let it go":D That said, UNO fan, in general, already had ample hatred for Michigan. I think it has something to do with their 27-8-3 record, all time, against us. ;) Getting jobbed by the refs (because they are Michigan, after all) just amped that up a notch or two more.

If we'd been playing the AHA conference winner in that NCAA tourney instead, for example, the no goal call on the ice by the refs is upheld. Every UNO fan I have ever spoken to about this firmly believes they got that call because they were Michigan. Dean Blais as much as said so, publicly, after the game. Worse, this cost us the chance at our first ever tourney win. Yup, we're bitter. Guilty as charged.

Since the puck was down low he should have been covering that side of the net. I'm not saying he should go down and push the guy into the boards but he's got to help his goalie out and put some pressure on the puck.

Yea, you can think that, but since we are all in the B1G, I think it's safe to say that the same feeling is in Happy Valley, East Lansing, and Columbus as well as Ann Arbor and St. Paul. You are the best underachiver in the B1G by quite a margin.

My dad was crushed that you managed to beat Tech this past weekend. In spite of getting out shot 3-1.

Minnesota vs Michigan has always been one of my favorite rivalries. Looking forward to that building in intensity.

There's a problem with that- it's hard to hate one of the fellow Evil Empire teams. BC does a great job of trying, but being 1/3 part of the most hated teams... well, you know how that is.

I am? I could troll more if you think it would help. Just trying to not be so involved in that way on the D-1 side anymore. I had my time - someone else needs to step up.


As far as the sweet graphic, was just turning the trope on the ones who use it most. ;) A Gopher fan brought us into this thread.


No doubt though, we are underachieving - or maybe we just suck.

Either way - an abomination of a season.


We'll weather it and be back at some point.

YOU are one of the rare fans that is a virtual representation of you team. ;)

So when the team sucks on the ice, you do as well- so since you are currently underachiving, well, it shows on the ice. :D
