Same could have been said about a few poor turnovers by Minnesota last night (Warning's cross ice breakout pass intercepted by Faust being the most glaring) had the Gophers lost.
That's hockey. Turn the puck over in certain areas at this level and they tend to end up in the back of your net. Both teams turned pucks over in bad areas. The Gophers just buried one more.

The hell? You just had those saved up or bookmarked to bring them back out for the occasion?
On another note, I'm just sad the Gophers got to 4 but couldn't pot the 5th for my free Culver's either night.
I really like eating free custard on a WisconSIN based company after a Gopher win.

That would make the Culver's just that much sweeter.

You see, these posts were posted back in April, and I did let them go at the time. Why speculate on what I thought would happen when I could wait and comment now when my comment will have oh so much more impact?
It might just be me, but if my team were 33rd in the NCAA in scoring last season and had to win the conference tourney to even get into the NCAA tourney, I probably would have worried a little more about my own team and spent a little less time "gleefully laughing in the corner" at our team.

Oh, I wasn't aware I wasn't allowed to be happy that Wisconsin was retaining their players (besides Woods) and a rival was losing some of their key players. I guess if I worried about my own team (never mind the fact that that comment was just as much about the Badgers as it was the Gophers), they'd be undefeated right now, because I have so much influence on the outcome of games, just by worrying!

Feel free to be happy about whatever you want to be happy about. But when you publicly display happiness with the misfortune of another team, can't say I understand how you'd be surprised at getting a little flak for it from said fan base when things don't turn out quite how you probably imagined

Oh, if I were a Gopher fan, I'd be laughing too! I won't lie about that. I just don't feel strongly about what "rights" fans have to cheer for their team if they're doing poorly.

I think you should be able to say whatever you want to say (within good taste). Nothing wrong with what you said, I was just dishing some back. Should be a fun series when we come visit you guys. No doubt the Badgers will be looking for some payback.

I don't know why you guys are bagging on msoh? I, myself was collecting a whole list of gopher posts from last season to get them with! It was going to be awesome!!!
But then my Mom came down in the basement and told me I had to go outside... and I forgot to save it.
