Shiby had to stop a 2-1, beat Parenteau and then USA scores again on clear break. What's with the Gopher D tonight...pathetic

end of the 1st 2-0 USA

To be fair there is no hitting at all in this game, it is more like an all-star type game back and forth all offense.

Fun to watch

It is fun to watch... Gophers had a couple chances, but USA had the open shots with speed and odd man rushes with sheer speed...

The USA team can play. They showed some top end passing and skating in GF. Fasching really looked good.

Second goal by USA scored by #14 Tyler Motte. Can't blame Shiby too much on the goals...he was hung out to dry on both. A 2 on 1 and an open shot in front with no D

Agreed.

They did score 4 goals up in GF, they can move their feet that's for sure. Maybe the Gophs will decide to play some D in the 2nd though :)

Yeah the Gophers aren't playing D at all in this game , or hitting, so the results may vary.
