Minnesota hosts Boston College, 10/25 & 10/27

Was Arnold the guy who was run by a Gopher in Tampa? Perhaps that played a role because you won't find anyone who follows Hockey East that has a problem with Arnold. Matheson on the other hand...yes, he absolutely can play like a dumbass at times.

Haha I don't know about Tampa, could have been. I see there's the same discussion in the BC season thread.. Sounds like the injury talk is a little played out now and I'm a part of that so ill move on. Good weekend of hockey.. Looking forward to possibly making the trip out to Boston when they meet out there in the next year or two

There was a ton of trash talk between Gopher players and Arnold throughout the game Sunday. After the 6th goal, M Reilly had a huge grin and waved goodbye to Arnold as he skated away.

The interference on Friday that knocked out Parenteau was definitely intereference, and it lead to a hard hit into the boards, but nothing to complain about there, it's just one of the things that can happen in a contact/collision sport, certainly nothing dirty about it.

The hit on Condon Sunday we questionable, I don't think it was a true intent to injure, but definitely a cheap-shot.

One cheap-shot is not something to complain about the coach/program being dirty.

One thing that stood out to me was the contrast between how dangerous Gaudreau was on Friday but how ineffective he was Sunday. It appeared to me that Rau had a lot to do with it, but whatever else the Gophers did to totally neutralize the damage "Johnny Hockey" is capable of doing should be bottled and saved for similar future situations when the Gophers are up against other star forwards. Or maybe Gaudreau just had a real off day which all players will have every now and then...

What a stupid nickname "johnny hockey", who the hell came up with that anyway?

The football one is dumb too.
