Minnesota High School Hockey Section Previews and Predictions

Re: Minnesota High School Hockey Section Previews and Predictions

This is the first time I've seen an Edina team play. They're just clearly on another level. So many Stillwater passes intercepted or tipped away; they (Edina) know what they're (Stillwater) trying to do before Stillwater even knows, it's like.

While Edina is good, I wouldn't put too much behind this win. I watched Stillwater get smoked by BSM a couple weeks ago. They must have had a bunch of big horseshoes in their breezers to get through the section. They're just not very good, I bet they go ofer in the tourney.

I think Eagan will be a good test for Edina. Looking forward to watching that one tonight. Eden Prairie vs. Lakeville North should be a good one too. I wouldn't be surprised to see Eagan ride that defense to the title.

God****. With all the northern teams out of the running in AA... I guess I'll root for Lakeville North and their UMD recruit.

No sandbagging, please! :p I see what you mean. At one point last night I thought: This is what my squirt rec team looked like when Cottage Grove beat us 15-2, meaning both that the better team was solid and that the lesser team just wasn't that good. Heck, last night could've turned out 15-2.

You're thinking of the kid that plays for Lakeville South. Matt McNeely's brother is on Lakeville North though.

Will tomorrow's Class A final be the drive for 5?

Cathedral doesn't have the depth. Their top skaters look gassed.

Re: Minnesota High School Hockey Section Previews and Predictions

Nice to see only public schools left.

Re: Minnesota High School Hockey Section Previews and Predictions

One St. Cloud hockey loss today, hopefully one more to go.

And now for what really matters come the MN State Tournament, The All-Hair Team 2014.

Gotta say I'm very disappointed The Chisago Afro didn't make it. Sure he didn't even dress for the games, but that epic flow he was sporting deserved recognition.
