There was no reason the top line of St. Thomas needed to come out for the 3rd. Should have only played the other 3 lines only...

I hope the next game is closer, you never know what you get with the Rochester squads though. Lately the southern schools have been weak.

I don't. A replay of the STA-Apollo game would be great! EGF isn't a high scoring enough team for that to happen though sadly.

Even putting aside my bias in this game, Lourdes deserves to lose for having brothers named Dakota and Montana.

I would cheer for Lourdes since they're a private school, but those socks need to go, and I can't cheer against Tyler Palmiscino.

EGF has the defense to be able to beat STA, but I don't think they have the goaltending. Tanner Lidstrom will have to be much better than he has been tonight.

I remember when I thought teams could beat STA.. And then they made quick work of everyone in the tournament.

Duluth East over Moorhead
Edina over Lakeville North
Hill Murray over Eastview--->could see and upset here, hot goaltender..
Wayzata over Cenntenial

Seating question for you pros: I think my 9-yr-old and I are going to go Friday morning. This'll be our first time at the state tournament. If we have options I'd like to sit behind the net, so he can see the positioning, how to use the space, etc. Is behind the net a bad idea? Will we be next to the band? Etc. Thanks!

At the X, sit anywhere in the upper deck and you'll get a great view of positioning and seeing plays develop.

Agreed, or row 20 or higher in the corner. Often times the only Class A session the upper level is open is Friday morning, but that's not a guarantee.
