Easy to focus on the impacts to the team. But Lucia has pressures on him that are far wider than just the AD. The B1G and NCAA watch these actions very closely.

They don't let kids have any fun these days, a guy can't even have a few underage brews and go cruisin' on a scooter anymore...bummer.

Seriously though, while not the brightest move you could make, if he does his time and says all the right things he will probably be in the lineup for the away Notre Dame series Nov 8th and 9th.

The University of Minnesota will host the 2014 Hockey City Classic Jan. 17 at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Intersport announced today. The outdoor college hockey doubleheader will kick off with the Gopher women’s hockey program taking on Minnesota State at 4:30 p.m. CT followed by the Gopher men’s hockey program hosting Ohio State at 8 p.m.

Better sight lines and closer to the rink than Soldier Field...me like it. At 8pm in January I'm guessing the ice will be HARD...so no lamea** excuses from about ice conditions from Gopher fans if OSU keeps it close or even squeaks out a W.

Nothing wrong with cruisin', but his corner drift stunt with a moped on 18th and University at 1am is going to attract the wrong kind of attention. This is a major screw up for Gabe this season. The Gophers have arguably the strongest incoming freshman class in the country (inc. RS/FR Connor Reilly). His suspension gives a few other guys a better opportunity to see more ice time and prove themselves. I think Gabe will see very limited ice time for the first half of the season.

I knew it! Probably a good thing. Now I won't feel guilty about sitting at home with top shelf liquor in hand watching the game on TV in complete warmth. Only downside is likely crappy BTN coverage. Let's hope they made some strides to improve this year.
