Minnesota Gophers Offesason Thread: Back To 1896

Re: Minnesota Gophers Offesason Thread: Back To 1896

How 'bout a season of "W's" and some change? Apparently these 1974 dimes (hope it's not the Denver mint) have been frozen into the center ice faceoff dot this season to commemorate 40 years since the 1974 National Championship and will remain there for the entire 2013-14 season. They were pre-frozen and the brain trust of the operation has guaranteed they will not melt through the ice (and all the Gopher players say, "Yes!"). Not sure what will happen to the dimes after the season but I think it's safe to say, if they auction them off expect their value to at least double in price.;)

CHN Preseason Top 10. They've got Wisconsin at *cough* #3 which means they expect them to win the B1G, which makes my favorite quote from the article even more apropos: "...it is awfully fun to guess".:D

Re: Minnesota Gophers Offesason Thread: Back To 1896

FINALLY, the Gopher Hockey TV schedule has FINALLY been FINALIZED. Here is the complete B1G TV schedule. BTN picks up only 9 regular season Gopher games. I honestly expected more from BTN, only one Gopher game on BTN in the first half probably due to football scheduling conflicts (BC vs. Gophers, Friday, Oct. 25). Gophers have two games in March against Mich and OSU on ESPNEWS?

Schedule subject to change. Remaining schedule details will be made public as they become available.

Well, not final, final. ;)

It's nice to see the nations premiere College Hockey team getting most of it's games televised regionally or nationally once again.
