True...Nice win today against a very good team and in fact very nice weekend of significantly good hockey.
But . . . third place in the conference.
Not good enough.

MANY sighs of relief in Ridder this afternoon. Arguable also a good goal for Duluth that got waived in the third. a damn close thing.Nice win today against a very good team and in fact very nice weekend of significantly good hockey.

Any change in the on ice call has to be indisputable.MANY sighs of relief in Ridder this afternoon. Arguable also a good goal for Duluth that got waived in the third. a damn close thing.
That was a quick whistle - or more accurately. a quick "intent to blow the whistle" - that wiped out what would have been the game-winner for the Gophers. More likely than not, a good goal. But 'more likely than not' loses to 'irrefutable'.
Yes, Sunday hockey.

Dickerman should've pulled Hansen before the second. watching her body language, she was just 100% spent.Today is a great opportunity for the Landcows to further add to the decline of the tunnelers. It's pretty simple, Get good goaltending and Just take advantage of the continuing mistakes the tunnelers will serve up to you.

The funniest one was during Sunday's game when Eva scored and he called her Sadie twice, his color commentator called her Eva, and he immediately called her Sadie one more time before finally getting it right. If anyone wants to play a drinking game while watching the playback of the Gopher quarterfinal series, see where you are at when Dan Harmon calls Ava Lindsey, Sadie Lindsey. You may wish for a drink with a low proof. I was at the games, but rewatched them, (yes, I am a masochist, makes it easier to accept what I see), and he may have finally, after most of the third game, caught himself, and corrected who he was referring to.
I swear if I had to call games for this team, there would be long stretches where I wouldn't be able to say much more than, "WTH?"
it's the inconsistency, like @robertearle pointed out, especially with Bradshaw that just really REALLY pisses me off. IDK how you can look at that hit Emma took on Saturday and not see the obvious and intentional contact. there was a camera RIGHT THERE on the broadcast. Coincidentally, Bradshaw is the only ref I have heard Dan call out by name---and self censor some cursing---on a broadcast.I did think the mess on Saturday wasn't entirely of their own making. On the first goal against, Parkkonen was on her knees defending on the edge of the crease and a Mav comes flying in and decks her. I realize that you don't often see calls around the net, but that one was quite blatant. The no call on the cross check to the back of the head on Kreisz in the final minutes wasn't totally unexpected, but they didn't silence the whistles much in OT.
i think the quote i heard from Dan on the radio broadcast was something like "This the the kind of performance we've been waiting on all year and at just the right time."Not that I mind seeing TWSNBN get crushed but that was kind of a big time chock job by them after being up 2-0.
Who was that team wearing tunneler jerseys? Was that the sinners B-squad?
Thanks!Congratulations on the win, you were the better team on the ice tonight.
